Training management is a comprehensive platform within the HR system aimed at developing employee skills, raising their efficiency, and helping them perform their tasks with higher efficiency.

The page works as a central tool for managing training courses from the moment they are added until tracking trainees' progress.

What Does the Training Page Offer You?

1. Training Indicators Dashboard

When opening the page, 3 main cards will appear to help you quickly understand the training status within the organization:

Number of Completed Courses

Total courses that employees have successfully completed.

Active Courses

Courses currently being conducted or available for registration.

Total Courses

Number of all courses registered in the system — whether completed, active, or saved as drafts.

These indicators give you an instant picture of training activity within the company.

Tip

Monitor these indicators regularly to identify training trends within the organization and make proactive decisions.

Second: Training Courses List

The system displays all available courses as Cards, and each card contains:

Course Card Content:

  • Course Name: Full course title
  • Training Category: (Financial – Soft Skills – Technical – …)
  • Level: (Beginner – Intermediate – Advanced)
  • Number of Lessons: Total number of lessons in the course
  • Total Training Hours: Total course duration
  • Number of Enrolled Employees: Current number of participants
  • Current Progress Percentage: Average progress in the course
  • Details Button: To view full content
  • Delete Button: When wanting to remove the course

Available Filters:

You can also use filters to search by:

  • Level: Beginner, intermediate, advanced
  • Course Type: Training category
  • Course Name: Text search
  • Enrolled Employees: Filter by participants

Use filters to quickly find suitable courses, especially when there are many courses.

Course Details

The course details page is one of the most important training pages within the HR system, as it gives the manager or training officer a complete picture of the course, and allows managing trainees and tracking their progress accurately.

Its Purpose:

  • Display all course information in one place
  • Track course status and completion percentage
  • Know number of enrolled participants and start/end dates
  • Modify employee progress percentage or delete the course when needed

1. Basic Course Information

Appears at the top of the page:

  • Course Name: Example "Leadership Skills"
  • Description: Example "Leadership skills used in the work environment"

This helps easily distinguish the course for evaluation or review purposes.

Tip

Make sure the description is clear and detailed to help employees understand course content before registration.

2. Instructor Data

Instructor Name: Example "Dr. Steve"

This is the person responsible for delivering content or actual training to employees.

Note

A good instructor plays an important role in course success, so make sure to choose qualified instructors.

3. Duration and Content Details

Example contains:

  • Duration: 40 hours
  • Number of Lessons: 8 lessons
  • Rating: 0 stars
  • Category: Soft Skills
  • Level: Beginner

Importance of These Details:

  • Help management know the course level, is it basic or advanced?
  • Give an idea about content volume and number of hours required to complete the course

Accurate course details help employees plan ahead and allocate sufficient time for training.

Third: Adding a New Training Course

By clicking "Add Course +", a course addition wizard opens consisting of 3 steps, as follows:

Step One: Basic Information

At this stage, you record the main course information:

Available Fields:

  • Title (Arabic/English): Course name as it will appear to employees
  • Description (Arabic/English): Brief explanation of what the employee will learn
  • Instructor Name (Arabic/English): Course owner or responsible trainer

Practical Example:

Title: Advanced Leadership Skills
(Arabic) مهارات القيادة المتقدمة

Description: Master essential leadership techniques…
(Arabic) إتقان تقنيات القيادة الأساسية…

Instructor: Dr. Sarah Johnson
(Arabic) د. سارة جونسون

After completion ➜ Click "Next".

Tip

Make sure to enter information in both Arabic and English to support employees speaking both languages.

Step Two: Course Details

Available fields:

  • Number of Training Hours: Total course duration
  • Number of Lessons: Number of units or lessons
  • Course Level: Beginner, intermediate, advanced
  • Training Category: Type of training (financial, technical, soft skills, etc.)
  • Upload Course Image: Illustrative image for the course
  • Is the Course Mandatory or Optional: Determine course nature

Make sure to specify level and category correctly to ensure the course reaches appropriate employees.

Step Three: Select Employees

In the final step, you can:

  • Select one or more employees: Assign course to specific employees
  • Select an entire department: Publish course to an entire department
  • Or publish course to all employees: Make the course available to everyone

Then click "Save" to add the course to the system.

Note

Selecting appropriate employees ensures greater benefit from the course and more targeted performance improvement.

Enrolled Employees Page

Its Function

Track each employee's status in the course.

Displays:

  • Employee Name: Know who is enrolled in the course
  • Department: Employee's department
  • Progress Percentage: Current progress in the course
  • Date Started Course: When the employee started training
  • Progress Status: (Not started, In progress, Completed)
  • Time Spent: Actual training duration

Its Importance

  • Helps manager know employees not committed to training
  • Can know who deserves recognition or motivation

Monitor progress percentage regularly to identify employees who need additional support or motivation.
